Marin Hearing Center’s newly expanded hearing clinic features artwork by Scott Strazzante. Mill Valley – based Strazzante is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer. He is a staff photographer for the San Francisco Chronicle where his photos are regularly featured on the cover of the newspaper. Strazzante is a former POY/NPPA National Newspaper Photographer of the Year, an 11-time Illinois Photographer of the Year and was part of a Chicago Tribune team that won a Pulitzer Prize in 2007 for investigative journalism. In October, 2017, Strazzante’s second book- Shooting from the Hip– was released. The book consists of iPhone Hipstamatic snaps from around the USA.
As the featured artist at Marin Hearing Center, you can see his work in person. We feature artwork from his Pacific Series- a collection of slow shutter speed fine art images of the Pacific Ocean made using intentional camera movement. All of the images were taken in and around Marin County. His art is breathtaking, colorful and soothing. The artwork display is open to the public. Stop by our office anytime between Monday-Friday 8 am – 4 pm to see Strazzante’s work.
