Dr. Andrew Valla
Audiologist
Dr. Andrew Valla has over 24 years of experience in audiology. He is well regarded in the San Francisco Bay area community, earning numerous accolades for his quality and patient-centered care. Born in Wisconsin, he is a graduate of University of Wisconsin, Steven’s Point with a B.S. in Communicative Disorders and an M.S. in Audiology. Dr. Valla obtained his Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in Pennsylvania. He began his career at UCSF Medical Center, practicing audiology in San Francisco and Marin County ever since. Dr. Valla specializes in diagnostic audiology, with special interests in hearing instrument selection and fitting, and vertigo and balance disorders.
Dr. Valla’s passion is driven by the bonds he builds with his patients and the enjoyment he holds in keeping his patients communicating and hearing well. He is excited to be a partner at Marin Hearing Center where he can share his clinical expertise, commitment to excellence and compassion for people.
Dr. Valla is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the California Academy of Audiology. He resides in San Rafael CA with his wife and 14-year old son. Actively involved within his community, he is a licensed USA triathlon coach and competes in triathlons and marathons.
Dr. Tracy Peck Holcomb
Audiologist
A Hearing and Tinnitus expert, Dr. Tracy Peck Holcomb has experience at one of the largest nonprofits in California, Hearing and Speech Center.
Dr. Peck Holcomb is an audiologist who has been providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients for over 15 years. Her clinical specialty is in the area of tinnitus and hyperacusis management. She has served on several advisory boards for both clinical and academic audiology and has given numerous presentations and lectures on hearing and tinnitus throughout the state of California.
Dr. Peck Holcomb received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. She is a Fellow member of the American Tinnitus Association, the American Academy of Audiology and Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology. Dr. Peck Holcomb is a Past President and Board Member of the California Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Emily Bernard
Audiologist
Dr. Emily Bernard provides outstanding patient care by integrating her clinical expertise with a patient-focused methodology. She fosters an environment where individuals feel at ease, supported, and genuinely heard. Her proficiency in establishing rapport and guiding patients through their healthcare journey with professionalism and clarity is a cornerstone of her practice.
Originally from Louisiana, Dr. Bernard relocated to San Francisco in 2019, building a career distinguished by compassion and service. She possesses eight years of experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer, which laid a solid foundation in patient care prior to her pursuit of audiology. Her transition to audiology was motivated by a dedication to enhancing patients’ hearing as well as their overall well-being, communication skills, and interpersonal relationships.
Dr. Bernard holds a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern State University (2013) and completed a program in sonography at the Institute of Ultrasound Diagnostics (2014). Her graduate studies in audiology included a clinical internship at Stanford Healthcare and a yearlong externship at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of the Pacific in 2025. Dr. Bernard is a licensed Audiologist, a member of the American Academy of Audiology and has a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Bernard enjoys baking, cooking, running, traveling, and spending meaningful time with family and friends.
Dr. Lisa Monardi
Audiologist
Marin Audiologist, Dr. Lisa Monardi has been practicing Audiology for over 20 years. She is the President and CEO of Marin Hearing Center in Corte Madera, CA and San Francisco Hearing Center in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Monardi focuses her efforts on delivering evidenced backed patient care and excellent service. She understands that each person’s auditory system and listening situations are unique. Her purpose is to ensure every patient loves what they hear. From a memorable chat with a loved one to an important conversation with a colleague or even a funny joke, it’s all about hearing your best and enjoying the moment. She is honored to share her experience in audiology and support individuals with hearing loss and tinnitus.
A California native, Dr. Monardi first fell in love with helping the hearing impaired after volunteering at a School for the Deaf in Larache, Morocco. She completed her undergraduate work at California State University, Sacramento and went on to obtain her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in Pennsylvania. A licensed Audiologist, Dr. Monardi is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and member of the California Academy of Audiology. She loves to spend time with her family and friends and is always up for traveling and visiting new places. She lives in San Anselmo with her family.
Lauren Kazanjian, B.A.
Hearing Aid Specialist
Lauren Kazanjian graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from California State University, Chico. She specializes in advanced hearing device technology, bringing over 10 years of experience providing hearing care to her patients. Lauren loves working at Marin Hearing Center because of their long-term commitment to their patients. She will help you choose the most appropriate hearing aids for your unique hearing loss. With Lauren, your devices will be expertly programmed using best practices.
She is licensed by the California Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board. In addition, she is a member of the International Hearing Society. When she isn’t helping people hear their best, Lauren is exploring the SF Bay area, listening to audiobooks and camping.
Robin Casper
Practice Manager
Our dedicated practice manager, Robin Casper has over 18 years of office management experience. She believes in the importance of quality patient care and getting to know everyone who walks through our door. Robin has a bachelors degree in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University and has always had a passion for helping people. She was born and raised in the Bay Area and now lives in San Rafael with her husband and has a daughter in college. When Robin isn’t working, she is out enjoying her favorite activities with friends and family that include camping, hiking, traveling, seeing movies and going to fun restaurants.
