  • Fatigue, stress, tension, and depression
  • Withdrawal from or avoidance of social situations
  • Social rejection and isolation
  • Reduced alertness and increased risk to personal safety, such as falls
  • Impaired memory and ability to learn new tasks
  • Reduced job performance and earning power
  • Diminished psychological and overall health
  • Diminished cognitive function in older adults
