The Better Hearing Institute (BHI) has a hearing test online. You are encouraged to take this test if you think you might have a hearing loss. You will be asked to answer 15 questions about your hearing—no sound is involved.
Your test will be scored by a computer and will be compared to nearly 11,000 people. It will then produce an immediate personalized evaluation of your hearing, which can be viewed only by you. The research on this test, using both subjective and objective measures, has been shown to have high validity and reliability, with published norms on over 7000 people with hearing loss.
The purpose of this test is to determine whether or not you should see an audiologist to have your hearing tested.
